My Alphabetz Pre School

Our little school is in Block No 5, right behind the Isro Colony in Ahmedabad. We are set up in a Maruti Nandan Row House in the Satellite area. It’s a nice neighborhood to be in. Since it is a row house, it feels more like a home than a big institution. We have small chairs and tables for the little kids who come here every day. The postcode is 380015. You can hear the children playing and singing from the street. We have a small outdoor area where they can run around a bit. It’s not a huge place, but we make the most of the rooms we have. The walls have some drawings pinned up, and there are toys scattered around by the end of the day. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after the kids and getting things ready for the next morning. It’s a bit noisy, but that’s what happens when you have a pre-school. The parents usually live nearby and walk their kids over. We know most of the neighbors in the block. It’s a very local feel. We don't have a big corporate office; we just have a desk in the corner where we handle the paperwork. It is a simple life here, looking after the small ones and making sure they are safe while their parents are at work. We just enjoy the daily chaos.
