Shalin Pumps

We are based in the Sutex Industrial Estate, which is located in the Rakhial area of Ahmedabad. Shalin Pumps has been around this industrial patch for a good number of years. If you know Rakhial, you know it’s a place where things are made. It’s noisy, dusty, and full of trucks and machinery. Our space in the estate is where we handle everything to do with our pumps. It’s a workspace meant for actual labor, not just sitting around. There are stacks of parts and the smell of metal and oil is pretty much always there. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t have a fancy lobby or any marketing people telling us what to say. We just make sure the pumps are right and the orders are going out on time. The heat in the industrial estate can be pretty intense during the summer months, but we just get on with it. It’s the kind of place where you wear work clothes and don't worry about getting your hands a bit dirty. Most of our neighbors are doing similar things, so there’s a shared sense of hard work in the air. We’ve been here long enough that the sounds of the machinery feel like background noise now. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do, and we do it right here in this corner of Ahmedabad. No fancy slogans, just a lot of work happening.
