Shakti Steel Art

Shakti Steel Art is tucked away in Odhav, right behind the Shiv Vijay Somill. If you make it to the last bus stop in Odhav, you are pretty much there. We are just opposite Aasha Traders. It is a bit of an industrial area, so there is always the sound of machines and trucks moving around. We work with steel every day. It’s noisy and dusty work, but we’ve been doing it for a long time. People come to us when they need something specific made out of metal. Maybe it is a gate, or some window grills, or just some decorative pieces for a house. We have the cutters and the welding machines all set up in the back. It isn't a showroom where everything is shiny; it’s a workshop. You will see scraps of metal and tools lying around on the benches. We don't have a big office staff, just a few of us who know how to handle the material. We take orders, draw out a plan on a piece of paper, and then start cutting. If you have an idea for some steel work, you can just come by and talk to us. We’ve been at this location for years, and most of the other shop owners around here know us well. It gets hot in the afternoons with the sun hitting the roof, but we keep working through it. That is just how the day goes here.
