Modi Plast

Modi Plast is our company, and you can find us at F-11 in Phase 2 of the GIDC Estate in Naroda. We are on the road opposite the Modern Bakery. It’s a typical industrial area, so there are lots of factories and warehouses around us. The smell of baking from the bakery across the way sometimes drifts over, which is a nice change from the smell of plastic. Our unit is dedicated to plastic work, so we have molds and machines running pretty much all the time. It’s not a quiet place to sit and think; it’s a place where things are being made. We have a small team here, and everyone knows what they need to do. Naroda GIDC is a big place, so we tell people to look for the Modern Bakery to find us. The office is just a small room at the front where we handle the billing and the phone calls. The rest of the space is taken up by raw materials and finished products. We don't have any flashy signs or a big showroom. Most of our visitors are people coming to pick up orders or deliver materials. It’s a lot of manual work, moving boxes and checking the quality of the plastic parts. We’ve been in this spot for several years now. It gets busy during the shifts, and there is always something that needs attention on the factory floor. We just focus on getting the orders out on time. Sometimes the machines act up, but we fix them and keep moving.
