Shelat Pharmaceuticals

Shelat Pharmaceuticals is at E-24 Safal 6. We are on Dudheshwar Road, which is right near the Hanumanpura Brts Stand. It’s a convenient spot because the buses stop right there. Our place is mostly storage. We have shelves and shelves of boxes with different medicines. We have to keep things organized and check the dates all the time. It’s a lot of counting and double-checking. The air conditioning has to stay on to keep everything at the right temperature, so it’s always a bit chilly inside. We spend our mornings taking calls from pharmacies and hospitals. Then we spend the rest of the day packing boxes for delivery. It’s busy work. Being near the Brts stand means there’s always people around outside. Sometimes the traffic on Dudheshwar Road gets backed up, which makes it hard for our delivery vans to get out on time. We don't have a big fancy storefront. It’s more of a distribution point. We eat our lunch in a small corner near the back exit. We’ve been here at Safal 6 for a while now and know most of the other shop owners around. We just focus on getting the right boxes to the right people. It’s repetitive but it’s important work. We try to keep the floor clean, but with all the cardboard coming in, there’s always some tape or paper lying around.
