You’ll find us out at 71-72 Shivam Estate 2, right behind the Ekta Hotel on the Sarkhej Bawla Highway. It’s a good location for what we do because the trucks can get in and out without getting stuck in city traffic. We spend our days around machinery at Tractor Trading Company. There’s usually a bit of grease on someone’s hands and the smell of diesel in the air. We buy and sell tractors, so there’s always something big parked out front or being worked on in the back. It’s a practical place, mostly concrete and metal. We don’t spend much time sitting in a fancy office. Most of the day is spent walking around the lot, showing people the engines or checking the tires. The highway is always humming in the background, which feels right for a business like ours. Farmers come from all over to see what we’ve got in stock. We talk about horsepower and parts more than anything else. Sometimes we have to hunt for a specific part for an older model, which can take some time. It’s a lot of manual work and plain talk. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us, the machines, and the people who need them to get their work done on the farms. We often spend our lunch breaks sitting on the tailgate of a truck, just talking about the local crops. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We know the machines inside and out, and that's what matters.
