Kisan Group

We work out of the sixth floor in Ashoka Chambers, which is right near Lions Hall in the Mithakhali area. It’s a decent sized space where the Kisan Group team spends most of the week. Being near Mithakhali Circle means there is always a lot of movement outside, but up on the sixth floor, it stays relatively quiet. We focus on our daily tasks, mostly dealing with the various things our group handles. It’s an office environment with desks, computers, and a lot of tea being drunk throughout the afternoon. We don’t really go for anything too fancy here. The building is older but it serves its purpose for us. Most of the people here have been with the group for quite some time, so we all know how things run. We handle a lot of different aspects of the business from this one location. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the supplies get to where they are supposed to go. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, so we end up waiting around and chatting with the neighbors. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity that doesn't talk to anyone. We are just a group of people working together to keep things moving. The view from the window shows the circle and all the traffic, which is a good reminder of how busy the city is. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out, from this office in Mithakhali.
