Sarjak Machine Tools Co. is located at 83/2 in Ghanshyam Estate. We have been working from this spot for a long time. It’s a typical estate environment where everyone knows their neighbors. Our space is filled with tools and parts, and sometimes it gets a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. We handle machine tools mostly. It’s a lot of metal and heavy stuff. The floors are concrete and they've seen a lot of wear over the years. We don't have a big sign with flashing lights or anything like that. People usually find us by word of mouth or because they are already in the estate for something else. Working with machine tools is precise work, but our shop has a very lived-in feel to it. It’s not like those clean rooms you see in movies. There is oil and metal shavings around because we are actually using the equipment. We started small and stayed that way because it's easier to manage things ourselves. When someone calls, they talk to one of us directly, not a computer. We like being at Ghanshyam Estate because it’s central for our needs. Usually, we are busy with a project or fixing something that broke down. It’s just honest work. We don't make big promises or use fancy words to describe what we do. We just show up at 83/2 and get to it. Sometimes the neighbors come by for tea, which is nice too.
