Sardar Patel University

Out here in Ratankuva, things are a lot quieter than the big cities. We are part of the Sardar Patel University setup, but based right in the village area of Virpur taluka. Kheda district is mostly about farms and small towns, so being at this address feels very connected to the local life here in Gujarat. Most of us grew up around these parts, so we know the roads and the people pretty well. The office isn't anything special, just a place where we get the work done. You won't find any big glass buildings here, just simple rooms and the sound of the countryside outside the windows. It takes a bit of a drive to get out here if you are coming from the main highway, but it’s a nice enough spot once you arrive. We handle the daily tasks for the university from this location. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow or the power goes out for a while, but we just manage with what we have. It’s a practical place to be. We see the same faces every day and that’s fine by us. Life in Ratankuva is steady. We don't have a lot of the distractions you get in Ahmedabad or Vadodara. It’s just about showing up and doing what needs to be done for the students and the community. The air is a bit fresher out here at least.
