S.A.L.. Steel L.T.D.

Our office is tucked away in Poojan Apartment, right near Jivaraj Mehta Hospital in Vasna. It's a busy part of Ahmedabad, and sometimes finding a parking spot is the hardest part of the morning. We’ve been working with steel for a long time, mostly just handling the day-to-day orders and making sure the trucks go where they need to. It isn't a fancy setup by any means. We have some old desks, a computer that acts up when it gets too humid, and a small area for tea. The hospital nearby means there is always a lot of traffic and people walking by, which keeps things lively. We started this because we knew the steel business well enough to make a go of it on our own. Most days it’s just about answering the phone and checking the inventory lists. Ahmedabad gets really hot in the summer, so we usually try to get the heavy work done early before the sun really hits the building. People around here know us as the guys in the apartment block who handle the steel supply. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us doing what we know. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment comes in, and other times it’s quiet enough to actually finish the paperwork. It is a simple life, and we like the neighborhood. Vasna has changed a lot since we first moved in, but our little corner remains pretty much the same as always.
