Sai Steel Industries

Sai Steel Industries is over at C-428 in Sumel Business Park - 7. It’s right by the Soni Ni Chal BRTS bus stand on Rakhial Road. Rakhial is a pretty industrial part of town, so there is always a lot of dust and the sound of machinery in the air. Being in the business park is convenient because we have everything we need nearby, but it’s still a lot of hard work. Our unit isn't huge, but we’ve managed to fit in all the equipment we need. The bus stand is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. We spend most of our time on the floor, making sure the steel is handled correctly. It’s not a quiet job. There is always the clinking of metal and the sound of trucks loading up. We have a small office space inside the unit where we keep the books, but we’re rarely sitting down. The afternoon heat in Rakhial can be tough, especially with the metal all around, but we just keep the shutters open for the breeze. We aren't fancy people. We wear our work clothes and get our hands dirty every day. We’ve built up a good relationship with the other businesses in the park. It’s a busy life, and we don't have time for anything that isn't practical or necessary. We just do the job and make sure the orders are ready on time.
