Sagar Steel

Sagar Steel is located out in the Hemel Industrial Estate, specifically at Plot No.1. If you know the Gujarat Bottling Road area in Rakhial, you know it’s mostly factories and trucks moving back and forth all day long. We are right near Jagannath Estate, so there’s constant noise from the machinery and the loading of metal. It’s a dusty place, and my hands are rarely clean by the end of the shift. We deal with steel in all sorts of forms, mostly just moving stock and making sure the orders for local builders and workshops get sent out on time. There aren't any fancy offices here with air conditioning that works all the time. It’s just a big shed with a lot of heavy stuff inside. We spend most of our time checking gauges, moving bundles of rods or sheets, and talking to the drivers who come in to pick up loads. It’s hard work, especially when the Gujarat sun is beating down on the metal roof and the whole place feels like an oven. We don't have a marketing team or a shiny website. Most of our business comes from people we've known for twenty years who just call us up when they need a specific type of steel for a project. It’s a straightforward way of doing things, and it’s how we’ve always operated here in the industrial heart of the city. We just focus on the metal and the orders.
