S. P. Steel

We've been based out of No. 201 in Gidc Hansalpur for a good while now. Viramgam is where we do all our steel work, and it's usually a pretty busy spot. Most days start early with the trucks pulling in and the noise of the machines getting going. We aren’t a fancy office with leather chairs; it’s more about the work boots and getting hands dirty. The heat in the shed can get a bit much during the summer months, but we just keep at it. People around here know where to find us if they need something made or some raw material for a project. S. P. Steel isn't trying to be something it's not. We just focus on the orders we have and making sure the cuts are right. It’s mostly just us chatting over tea in the breaks and then getting back to the metal. There is always a lot of dust around, and the floor is never really clean for long, but that’s just how a steel yard is. We’ve seen the area change a bit over the years, more buildings coming up around the GIDC, but our daily routine stays mostly the same. If you walk by, you’ll probably hear the grinders or see some sparks. It’s just honest work we do here every day, trying to stay on top of the pile of stuff that needs doing before the sun goes down.
