We’ve been here at Silver Arc for a while now. It’s right near the Ellisbridge railway crossing, which can get pretty noisy when the trains go by, but you get used to that after the first week. Most days it’s just us handling piles of paperwork and talking to clients about import stuff. The office isn't anything fancy or impressive, just a practical space where we get the job done. Sometimes the lift acts up, so we end up taking the stairs more often than we'd like. Being in Ellisbridge is handy because most of the banks and government offices are close by. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at spreadsheets that never seem to end. It's quiet work for the most part, but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We aren't trying to be some big corporate giant with a shiny lobby, just a local team doing our bit. People stop by sometimes to ask about shipping or rules they don't quite understand. We try to help out where we can. It’s a lot of back and forth with different departments. The tea stall downstairs is where we usually end up for our afternoon breaks. It’s just how we run things here. Not much else to say really, we just show up and do what needs doing every single day. The traffic outside can be a real mess around five, so we usually stick around a bit later to avoid the rush.
