S. D. R. Import Export

We operate out of Ambica Appartment in Naranpura. It’s more of a residential-feeling area, which we actually prefer over some cold office block in the city center. Our unit, number 75/894, is where everything happens for S. D. R. Import Export. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of samples lying around, but we manage to stay organized. Naranpura is a good neighborhood with everything we need close by. We spend most of our hours dealing with international trade details. It sounds more glamorous than it actually is. In reality, it’s just a lot of emailing and making sure the numbers on the invoices match up. We don’t have a receptionist or any fancy staff. If the phone rings, one of us just picks it up. We started this because we wanted to work for ourselves and knew the trade business well enough to try. It's been a learning process, and we've made our share of mistakes along the way. But we’re still here doing it. The neighbors are mostly families, so it stays relatively quiet during the day. Sometimes we have to move stuff in and out, which can be a bit tricky in an apartment building with narrow hallways, but everyone is used to us by now. It’s a modest setup, but it’s ours and it works for the kind of volume we handle. Just a few people doing our bit to keep the business running every day.
