If you ever come down to Bhaijibha Estate, you’ll find us at number 16. Rupal Steel Industries has been tucked away in this spot for a good while. It's a typical industrial estate, so there's always the sound of trucks and people moving heavy things around. We deal with steel, so things can get a bit loud and dusty, but that’s the nature of the job. It’s not a glamorous place by any means. We have our tools and our materials, and that’s about it. My team and I usually start pretty early, around 8 am, to get a head start on the day’s cutting or whatever else needs doing. We don't spend money on fancy signs or expensive office chairs. Most of our budget goes into the equipment we use every day to keep things moving. Sometimes it feels like we’re just a small part of a very big engine here in the estate, but we like it that way. Customers come by when they need something specific, and we try to give them what they’re looking for without making a big fuss. It’s honest work. We don't have a marketing department telling us what to say, so we just talk to people plainly. If the steel is ready, it's ready. If there's a delay, we say so and explain why. We’ve built some good relationships with the neighbors over the years. It's a tight-knit community of workshops and small units around here.
