We’re based in Ahmedabad, specifically in Navrangpura at Prayag Apartment. It’s number 4, right near Prabhu Park. The area is usually packed with cars and people. Our office is a small room where we handle recruitment. It’s basically just us on the phones all day or looking through piles of resumes on the computer. Navrangpura is a central spot, so it’s easy for people to find us, though parking is always a headache near the park. We help people find jobs and help companies find workers, which sounds simple but it’s a lot of back-and-forth. The office has a few chairs for people coming in for interviews. It’s not a very big space. We’ve got a window that looks out towards the street, and it gets quite dusty. We don’t have any fancy corporate stuff here. It’s just desks, some old filing cabinets, and a lot of lists. Sometimes the tea man comes by and that’s the highlight of the afternoon. We’ve been in this apartment for a while now. It’s a bit cramped when we have more than two people visiting, but we make it work. It’s just a local recruiting office doing what we can. Ahmedabad is hot most of the year, so we just keep the fan going and stay busy with the calls.
