We are located at 54 Vikas Ind. Estate. It's a standard industrial unit where we spend our days working with steel for door devices. Redigtn Door-Devices Steel (India) isn't a name you'll see on big billboards. We’re tucked away in the estate among many other small factories. Most of our day is spent at the benches or looking over the machines. It’s mostly manual work, getting the fittings right and making sure the steel parts are sturdy. We have a small crew, just a few local guys who know their way around the shop. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings by noon. We don’t have a marketing team or a fancy website. If someone needs door hardware or steel devices, they usually just give us a call or drop by the estate. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually take our breaks. It’s a basic setup, but it suits us. We don't try to pretend to be more than a local steel workshop. Sometimes the shipments are late or a machine breaks down, and we just deal with it as it happens. We focus on the orders we have on the table right now. It’s practical work for practical people. That’s how we’ve always handled things here at Vikas.
