It gets a bit crowded with all the files and samples lying around on the desks. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers and customers. It’s a typical office environment, maybe a bit messy at times. There is always a lot of paperwork to deal with, especially with the metal trade being what it is. We’ve been in this building for some time now. Some of the neighbors are in different businesses, but we all get along fine. We don’t have a lot of decorative stuff on the walls, just the basics like a calendar and maybe a clock that’s a few minutes fast. We try to keep track of everything, but sometimes it feels like the day just gets away from us. People come and go throughout the day to drop off documents or talk about orders. It’s not a high-pressure environment, but we stay steady. We just do our best to keep the records straight and the metals moving to the right places. It’s a modest setup, nothing more and nothing less. Just a small team trying to keep the wheels turning from our spot in the Arcade. We take things one day at a time.
