Kesar Steel Industries

Our place, Kesar Steel Industries, is tucked away in Ravi Estate, right across from Ajay Estate. If you are looking for us, we are at number 8, right near the Kewal Kanta area in Rakhiyal, which is opposite Ajay Estate again according to the official mail. It is a loud place to work because of all the steel being moved around and cut, but that is just how it is in this part of the city. We spend most of our mornings unloading heavy sections of steel from the lorries that pull up outside. The sun hits the metal and it gets really bright in the yard, so we usually wear caps or stay under the shed when we can. Rakhiyal is full of businesses like ours, so there is always a lot of activity and the sound of machines running next door. We have a small cabin for the paperwork, but most of the time we are out there on the floor. It is a bit cramped sometimes with all the stock we keep, especially when a big order comes in and we have to shuffle everything around to find what is at the bottom. The guys who work here have been around for years, so we all know the routine well. We don't have a big reception area or anyone to greet you at the door, you just walk in and find one of us. Usually, there is some tea being made or a newspaper lying around. We just keep our heads down and get the orders ready for whoever needs them, day in and day out.
