We are based out of Jay Jayant Estate, right across from Kewal Kanta at number 11. It's an industrial area, so there’s always trucks moving in and out. We deal in steel. That means a lot of heavy lifting, moving pipes, sheets, and rods around the warehouse. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit. Most of us are in work clothes, dealing with inventory and loading orders. People call us up when they need specific grades of steel for construction or manufacturing. We check what we have in the yard and give them a price. It’s simple and direct. Sometimes the yard gets a bit disorganized when a big shipment comes in, but we eventually get it sorted. We don't do much marketing or anything like that. Most of our customers have been buying from us for years because they know where we are and that we have the stock. It’s a lot of manual work, checking measurements and making sure the weight is right for the transport. The weather can make it tough in the summer, working around all that metal, but we’re used to it by now. We just keep our heads down and focus on getting the steel out to the people who need it. It’s not fancy, but it is necessary work for the building and manufacturing that goes on around here.
