You can find us at A-2 in the Neminath Industrial Estate. We are right opposite Kamal Restaurant which is a good landmark if you are looking for us near the Uttam Dairy Cross Road in the Rakhial area. The neighborhood is always buzzing with activity because of the dairy and all the workers heading out to get lunch. Our spot is pretty basic, just a large room where we store all the steel inventory we have in stock. The noise from the street is constant with horns honking and people shouting but you get used to it. We usually start the day by checking what shipments came in during the night. I spend a lot of time talking to the truck drivers and making sure the loads are exactly what we ordered. When it gets too hot in the afternoon I sometimes walk across to the restaurant just to grab a cold soda. The office part of our unit is just a small partitioned area with a dusty table and some old chairs for visitors. We do not have a big team here, just a few of us who know how to handle the heavy lifting of the steel bars. It is a lot of manual labor moving the sheets around to make enough space for new arrivals. The crossroad is always jammed with traffic in the evenings so we try to get our work finished before the rush starts.
