Rajni Metal Works

Rajni Metal Works is located at 39, Chinaibaug Estate. We are right behind the Union Bank of India on Dudheshwar Road. It’s a handy landmark for people who haven't visited us before. The estate itself is full of different workshops and small factories. We’ve been in this specific spot for years. The building is made of old brick and concrete, and it stays relatively cool even when the sun is beating down on the road. We do a lot of metalwork here, so there is always the sound of hammers or cutters going. It’s a bit of a maze getting back to our unit, but once you’re here, it’s all business. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Everything we make is usually stacked up ready to be picked up or shipped out. The office is just a corner with a couple of old wooden desks and a calendar on the wall. we know most of the other shop owners in Chinaibaug and we help each other out when someone needs a tool or an extra hand. Dudheshwar Road is always moving with people and carts. We like being in the middle of it all. It feels like the real heart of the city’s trade. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to. Most of our time is spent on the floor making sure the metal pieces are coming out right.
