Raj Impex

Raj Impex is situated right opposite Gota Lake in the Gota area of Ahmedabad. Having the lake nearby is nice, though you don’t really see it much when you’re stuck inside the office. The air is a little better here than in the center of the city. We’ve been in Ahmedabad for quite a while now. Our office space is pretty basic. We have a few desks and a small area where we keep our files. The building itself is easy to find because everyone knows Gota Lake. Sometimes in the evenings, it gets quite crowded around here with people taking walks. We usually try to wrap things up before the evening rush starts. The walls inside are plain white and we haven't really bothered with any fancy pictures. Gota has grown so much in the last few years, there are shops everywhere now. We remember when it was much quieter. Our daily routine is mostly just answering emails and talking to people on the phone. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who have known each other for a long time. The internet goes out occasionally when it rains, which is annoying. But overall, it's a steady place to work. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just show up at the office near the lake and do our bit. The tea here is okay, but we usually bring some from home in a thermos to save a little money.
