Pyramid Engineers

We’ve been here at Sahjanand Tower for quite some time now. It’s right behind the AEC Zonal office on Sola Road. If you walk past the ground floor at G/12, you’ll probably hear the machines running. Most days start early with a cup of tea while we look at the drawings for the day. It gets pretty dusty inside, but that is just part of the job. People in Naranpura know where to find us. We don’t have a big fancy office with air conditioning. It is a workshop through and through. There are metal scraps in the corner and tools spread across the benches. Sometimes we stay late when a job is urgent, and other times it is just the usual steady pace. My hands are usually covered in grease by noon. It isn't anything glamorous, just engineering work that needs doing. We focus on the parts and the measurements. If the dimensions are off, nothing works right, so we spend a lot of time double-checking things. The building itself is older, and everyone around here knows each other. We talk to the neighbors about the weather or the traffic on Sola Road while we wait for deliveries to show up. It is a simple setup, but it works for what we do. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but our shop stays pretty much the same. Just a place where things get built and fixed every day.
