You can find us at Alpha One Mall, right near Vastrapur Lake. We are on the ground floor at 18-A, inside the Fire & Flames Business Centre. Being in a mall is a bit different from a standalone shop because there are always people walking by, even when it is early morning. We do a lot of baking, so the smell of bread and cakes is usually hanging around our little corner. It is not a huge space, but we make it work. Most of our day is spent dealing with flour, sugar, and ovens that never seem to cool down. We are not trying to be the fanciest bakery in Ahmedabad. We just want to make things that people enjoy eating while they are out shopping or walking by the lake. Sometimes the mall gets really crowded on weekends and it is a bit of a scramble to keep the shelves full. We have had our fair share of mishaps, like the time the power went out right in the middle of a big batch of cookies. But we just keep going. The team here is small, mostly just a few people who really know their way around a kitchen. We do not use big words to describe our food. It is just baked goods made by hand. It is a lot of standing and a lot of washing up, but it is our life here at Alpha One Mall.
