Prakshal Placement Services

We’ve been running Prakshal Placement Services out of this office at Takshashila Apartments for a while now. Most people know us because we are right near the Vishweshwar Mahadev temple here in Vastrapur. It is a busy part of Ahmedabad, especially with all the traffic around Satellite, but our spot is relatively easy to find once you get into the lane. We spend most of our mornings just going through resumes and talking to people who walk in looking for work. It isn't a fancy setup with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a regular room with some desks and computers where we try to figure out where folks might fit in. Sometimes the fans are a bit loud and the tea from the stall downstairs is what keeps us going through the afternoon rush. We don't have some big corporate strategy. We just look at who needs a job and see if any of the companies we know are hiring. It gets pretty hectic when multiple people show up at once, but we handle it as it comes. Being in this residential building makes it feel more like a neighborhood thing than a stiff business. We know the neighbors and the local shops around here. If you are coming from the main road, just look for the temple and you will be close enough to find us. It’s a simple operation, really, just some local people trying to help other locals find a way to earn a living.
