We are over in the Gheekanta area, specifically in the Shanti Commercial Centre at B/33. If you know where the Nutan Nagarik Bank is, we are basically right across from there. This part of Ahmedabad is always crowded with traders and people moving goods around. Being a distributor means our day is mostly about handling paperwork and moving boxes of medicine. It’s a bit different from a regular shop because we deal with larger quantities. The space in Nagar Sheth No Vando is always full of activity. We don't have a big display window or anything like that. It’s just a functional office and storage area where we keep things organized. The heat in Ahmedabad can be quite something in the afternoons, so we try to get most of the heavy lifting done early. We’ve been at this for a while now and we know the local routes well. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking lists to make sure the right stuff goes to the right people. It isn't a glamorous job but it is important for the local supply. We don't really do much retail talk. We just focus on the logistics and making sure the stock is ready when it’s needed. It's a straightforward business and we just stick to what we know. The commercial centre is old but it works for us.
