Poonam Fabrication

Our small shop is out in Kalol, near Jaspur. It’s right near the Vadasar Gota area. It’s a bit more on the outskirts compared to the city shops, which we actually like. It’s quieter here, although we still stay busy with fabrication work. Poonam Fabrication has been our livelihood for a long time. We do mostly manual work, welding and cutting metal for whatever the local people need. The shop is just a basic structure, nothing fancy. We spend most of our time outside or in the open doorway because of the heat from the torches. We’ve got some old machines that still run perfectly fine. Our neighbors in Jaspur are mostly other small workshops or houses. Everyone knows each other around here. If someone needs a gate fixed or a frame made, they just walk over and talk to us. We don't have a big sign or anything. We just rely on people telling their friends about us. Sometimes the dust from the road gets into the shop, but we just sweep it out and keep going. Kalol is a good place for a business like ours because there’s always someone building something new. We aren't looking to expand into some big factory. We just like doing our work and going home at the end of the day. It’s a simple life, and the work keeps us active. We try to be fair with people and just do a decent job.
