Plazma Steel Works

If you head down Chakudiya Mahadev Road in Rakhial, you’ll find us over at 3, C.M. Estate. We’re right across from Gravity, inside Shah Estate. Plazma Steel Works is what we call ourselves. It’s a noisy place most of the time, with all the cutting and welding going on. Steel isn’t the easiest thing to work with, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. It’s dirty work and you definitely need to wear your boots. The shop floor is usually covered in scraps and the smell of hot metal is always around. We aren't trying to look fancy for anyone. People come to us when they need something made out of steel that’s going to last. We don't do much in the way of talking, we just listen to what’s needed and then get to the workbench. Being in Rakhial means we are in the heart of the industrial area, which makes sense for what we do. The neighbors are mostly doing similar kinds of work. Sometimes we help each other out with tools or advice. It’s a busy estate and there’s always trucks coming and going. We keep our tools sharp and our heads down. It’s not a glamorous job, but there’s a certain satisfaction in seeing a finished piece of work leave the shop. We’re just a bunch of regular guys working with metal every day to get things built.
