Phenix Varco Pruden

Our office is tucked away in MB House, which is number 51 in the Chandroday Society. It is right there on Stadium Road, so the traffic is almost always humming in the background. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets around here, especially when there is something going on at the stadium. We have been in this building for quite some time now. It’s got that old-school feel to it, with narrow stairs and the kind of windows that sometimes stick when you try to open them. Inside, it is mostly just desks piled with papers and some old computers that we probably should have replaced a few years ago. We spend most of our time looking at drawings and talking on the phone with people at the sites. It gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at once, but we make it work. There’s a small tea stall just down the road where most of us go around four o'clock to stretch our legs and get away from the screens for a minute. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a flashy lobby or anything like that. It is just a place where we come to get the planning done and make sure the logistics are sorted out. Some days are slow and others are a total mess with deadlines, but that is just how it goes in this line of work at Phenix Varco Pruden.
