Unique Dye Chem

The place is at Plot No. 1902, Phase-4 in GIDC, Vatva. It’s a busy corner of the industrial area. We spend most of our time dealing with dyes and chemical batches. The walls have some stains from the years we've spent here, but that is just part of the work. Vatva is always moving, especially in Phase-4. There is a lot of traffic on the main roads during the shift changes. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we check the bags. It is not a quiet job. The air smells a bit like sulfur and iron most days. We have a couple of guys who have been here since the start. We drink tea from the stall down the road twice a day. The floor stays pretty messy when we are in the middle of a big batch, but we sweep it up before leaving at night. It’s just a standard setup with some tanks and scales. We don't really do much else besides the dye work. If you come by, you might see the delivery trucks backing into the narrow space we have out front. It takes some skill to get them in there without hitting the gate. It's just a regular day-to-day operation for us at Unique Dye Chem. We try to stay organized even when the orders come in all at once. It’s a lot of work but it's steady and we like the routine.
