If you head over to Plot No. 7602 in Phase-4 of the GIDC in Vatva, you will find Chamunda Pharma Machinery Pvt. Ltd. We are right in the middle of the industrial hustle there. Our work involves a lot of stainless steel because that is what pharma machines need. Most of the day is spent cutting, polishing, and fitting parts together. It is a noisy environment with the sound of grinders and polishers going constantly. We have to be careful with the finish on these machines, so there is a lot of looking at things closely under the shop lights. The workshop floor at Plot 7602 is usually busy with people moving around and checking on different stages of the builds. We aren't big on corporate talk or fancy presentations. We just show people what we are working on right there on the floor. The air in Phase-4 is always thick with the smell of metal and welding, and our shop is no different. We have a small area for tea and lunch, which is where we sit and take a breather from the heat. It gets really hot in Vatva, so those breaks are important. Most of our guys have been doing this for a long time and they know the machines inside out. We just keep our heads down, handle the metalwork, and make sure the crates are packed up for the next shipment.
