Vinayak Chemicals

Vinayak Chemicals is situated at Plot No. 80/7 in Phase-1 of the GIDC in Vatva. This part of the industrial estate is always full of activity and different smells. Our shop is a practical space where we handle various chemical batches. It is not the cleanest environment, as there are always stains on the floor and drums stacked up to the ceiling. We spend our days measuring out ingredients and making sure the mixtures are sitting right. It’s a lot of manual handling, moving heavy containers from one side of the room to the other. The air is often thick, and we keep the big exhaust fans running as much as possible. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. If you show up, you’ll probably find one of us in an apron or gloves, busy with a batch. The GIDC life is pretty basic; we arrive when the sun is coming up and leave when the work is finished. Sometimes the plumbing gives us trouble, or a pump breaks down, and we have to spend the afternoon fixing it ourselves with whatever tools are handy. We just do things the way we’ve always done them. It is a straightforward business without any bells or whistles. We focus on the buckets and the barrels and getting them onto the trucks on time so the drivers can get back on the road.
