G. K. Plastics

Our company is G. K. Plastics. We are situated at Plot No. 409 in Phase-2 of the GIDC in Vatva. If you are coming this way, you will see we are near a few other plastic units. The smell of melting plastic is pretty strong around here. You get used to it after ten minutes, though. We have a couple of injection molding machines. They are old but they get the job done if you maintain them right. We spend a lot of time cleaning the molds. It is a dusty environment because of the raw plastic granules we use. We keep them in big sacks stacked near the door. Sometimes the sacks tear and we have to sweep up the little beads. Our office is just a tiny corner with a computer and a telephone. We do not spend much time in there. Usually, we are out on the floor making sure the machines are running smooth. We do not have any fancy brochures. People mostly find out about G. K. Plastics through word of mouth in the Vatva area. It is a tight-knit community here. If someone needs plastic parts, they eventually find their way to Plot No. 409. We just try to keep things moving and stay on schedule. It is not always easy when a machine breaks down, but we manage to get things sorted. We are just a small outfit trying to do a decent day’s work.
