Darshan Dyechem (Prop. Girish H Patel)

My name is Girish H Patel, and I run Darshan Dyechem from Plot No. I-149/A here in Vatva. This place has been my second home for a long time. It’s tucked away in Phase-2 of the GIDC, and honestly, if you didn't know the plot number, you might miss it. We deal with dyes and chemicals, so the air usually has a certain scent to it. I spend most of my day checking on the batches and talking to the workers to see what’s needed for the next day. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s just us doing what we know how to do. Sometimes the machinery acts up and we have to spend the morning fixing a belt or a motor, which can be frustrating but that's part of the business. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually take our breaks and talk about the news. We’ve got a small team, and everyone knows their role. We don't make big promises, we just try to get the product out the door on time. The office desk is covered in old invoices and spare parts, which isn't very pretty, but it shows we’re busy. People around here know me, and they know where to find the shop. It’s a basic operation but it’s ours. We usually lock up the gate around 6:30 and head home.
