Ashvin Dye Chem Industries

Down at Plot No. C-1B/213 in Phase-2 of the GIDC in Vatva, you will find Ashvin Dye Chem Industries. We have been operating out of this same spot for a long time. It is a typical chemical unit, nothing too fancy to look at from the outside. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we would rather spend the money on our equipment and raw materials. We deal with dyes and various chemicals, so there is always some color on the floor or on the workers' clothes by the end of a long shift. The atmosphere in Vatva is very industrial, with constant trucks rumbling by the gate. We have a small crew of workers who have been with us since the early days. They know exactly how the mixers behave and how to get the shades just right for the customers. It is a lot of manual labor, lifting heavy bags and pouring liquids into the vats. We do not have a fancy website or any glossy brochures to hand out. Usually, our work comes through word of mouth or long-standing relationships in the chemical trade. We just focus on making sure the chemicals are processed correctly and shipped out on time. The office is just a small room partitioned off from the main floor, filled with ledgers and old files. It gets quite hot in the summer, but we keep the fans going and keep on working.
