Vatva is a busy place, especially around Phase-2 of the GIDC. Our building, Ambuja Intermediates Pvt. Ltd., sits right at Plot No. 41. If you come by in the afternoon, the air is usually thick with the sounds of the industrial area. We spend most of our time dealing with chemicals and intermediates. There are a lot of pipes and tanks around the place. It isn't a quiet job, that’s for sure. The staff here has been around for a long time. We know the layout of Plot No. 41 by heart. Sometimes the rain makes the roads in Vatva a bit messy, but work doesn't stop. We have deliveries coming in and out through the main gate throughout the day. People in the neighboring plots are always busy too. Inside the office, things are a bit calmer than the shop floor, but there is always paperwork to catch up on. We don't have a big fancy lobby. It’s just a practical space where we manage the daily operations. The heat in the summer can be tough inside the shed, so we keep the fans going as much as possible. Working here at Ambuja Intermediates Pvt. Ltd. means being part of the GIDC rhythm. We keep track of the batches and make sure the containers are where they need to be. It is just regular work for us, day in and day out, making sure everything is handled properly before the shift ends and the evening trucks start lining up outside the gate.
