Vim Dye Chem Pvt. Ltd.

Our place, Vim Dye Chem Pvt. Ltd., is over at Plot No. C-1B 89/18 in Phase-1, GIDC Vatva. We’ve been here for quite a bit. It’s an old industrial area, so everything has that worn-in look. We mainly work with dyes and various chemical compounds. The building is a basic structure with a small office tucked in the front. Most of the space is taken up by the production line and storage. It’s usually pretty loud because of the fans and the mixers. We don't have any fancy brochures. People who need what we make usually just give us a call or stop by. The tea stall down the road is where we usually get our morning fix. Working in Vatva means you get used to the smells and the constant movement of trucks. We have a small team, and some of the guys have been with us for over ten years. We don’t do things in a flashy way. We just follow the steps we’ve always followed. Sometimes the power goes out, and we all just sit outside and wait for it to come back. It’s a very grounded way of working. We try to be careful with every batch. It’s just a local business trying to keep things moving. We keep a stack of old newspapers in the office to read during the slow times. It’s a simple life here in the GIDC.
