Sarvottam Steel Industries

Our shop is over at Plot No. 54/2/A in Phase-1 of the GIDC in Vatva. It’s a big industrial area, and we have been part of it for a long time. Working with steel means everything is heavy and everything is loud. You get used to the sound of metal hitting metal after a while. The plot we are on has plenty of space for the raw materials, but it still feels full most of the time. We spend a lot of our day out on the floor, checking the production and making sure the machines are running okay. It gets very hot in Vatva, especially inside a steel unit, so we drink a lot of water and take breaks in the shade when we can. We aren't the type of people to use big words or fancy marketing. We just know steel and we know how to work the machines. Most of our guys have been living in the area for years, so it’s a bit like a small community inside the gate. The gates stay open most of the day for the lorries to come in and out. There’s a lot of grease and dust, but that’s just part of the trade. We focus on getting the orders finished and out the door on time. It’s a tough environment, but it’s honest work, and we are glad to be part of the Vatva industrial scene for all these years.
