We occupy a good stretch of land from Plot No. 115 to 123 in Phase-1 of the GIDC in Vatva. Rohan Dyes & Intermediates Ltd. is a busy place because we have a lot of ground to cover. Being in Vatva, you’re surrounded by industry. It’s the smell of work and the sound of trucks. We deal with dyes, so things can get a bit colorful and messy at times. It’s not a clean-office kind of job. We are down in the thick of it. Our buildings are older but they do the job. We don’t have a big philosophy. We just focus on making the intermediates and dyes as well as we can. There are a lot of us working here, from the guys on the floor to the people in the small office. We’ve been in Phase-1 for a long time, so we know how the GIDC works. We don't bother with fancy presentations. If someone wants to know about us, they can just look at our output. It’s a lot of manual work and monitoring. We have our routines. Lunch is usually a quick break before getting back to the tanks and the drums. It’s a big site, but we try to keep it organized. Vatva is a tough place but it’s where we belong. We’re just a bunch of people doing a job in an industrial town. There is always a lot of steam and noise, but that just means we are busy.
