Our place is at Plot No. 71/16, Phase-1, GIDC, Vatva. It’s a busy spot, and there’s always a lot of dust in the air from all the factories around here. We deal with both steel and chemicals, which makes for an interesting mix of smells and sounds. One side of the shop might be noisy with metal being moved around, while the other side is quiet with someone measuring out liquids. Gargi Crystal Steel Chem isn't a massive corporation; we’re just a group of people trying to keep the wheels turning. We don’t use those big words you see on billboards. We just talk like normal people. If a client needs something, we check the stock and let them know. We’ve had some leaky roofs in the past during the monsoon, and the yard gets pretty muddy, but we just put on our boots and keep moving. Our workers are mostly local guys who have been with us for a while. We know each other’s families and we help out when someone needs a day off. It’s a practical way to run things. We don’t have a big fancy lobby with chairs. If you visit, you’ll probably end up standing in the warehouse or sitting on a plastic chair in the office. We focus more on the steel and the chemical batches than on making the place look pretty. It works for us.
