Pharmacy De Santa Lucia

Our pharmacy is Shop Number 9 on the first floor of Sukan Homes. We are directly opposite the Bank of Baroda, which makes it easy for people to find us. You have to walk up to the first floor, so it’s a bit quieter than the shops right on the ground level. We have a decent view of the street from up here. Pharmacy De Santa Lucia isn't a huge place, just a well-organized shop where we keep everything a neighborhood might need. We have the usual medicine racks and a small desk where we do all the billing and paperwork. Sukan Homes is a good spot, and we get along well with the other shop owners in the building. It’s a friendly atmosphere. We spend a lot of time sorting through boxes and making sure the labels are all facing the right way. It can be repetitive, but we don't mind the routine. We have a small fan that wobbles a bit, but it helps when the sun hits the front windows in the afternoon. Most of our customers are locals who live in the surrounding buildings. We hear the bank customers coming and going all day. It’s a practical little business. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us, the medicine, and the daily tally of who needs what. We stay until the last customer leaves, then we lock up the shutters and head home. That is basically our daily life and we've been doing it like this for years.
