Pharma Gem (I)

Our office is at 103, Mahavier Chambers. It’s an older building, and we’re on the first floor. The stairs are a bit narrow, so carrying boxes up can be a bit of a chore. We deal with pharmaceutical stuff, so the office is always full of samples and medical boxes. It smells a bit like a doctor's office in here. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers and distributors. It’s not a very big space, so we’re all pretty close to each other. We have a small desk for the accounts and another one for the paperwork. There isn’t much room for anything else. We try to keep things organized, but when a new shipment arrives, it gets a bit chaotic for a day or two. We usually have the radio on in the background to keep things lively. Most of the people who work here have been with us for a long time, so we know how each other likes their tea. We don’t have any big signs outside, just a small nameplate by the door. It’s a quiet business, mostly handling orders and making sure the right medicines get to the right places. We don't do any big advertising; we just rely on the people we've been working with for years. It’s a busy enough life for us in this chamber.
