Patwa Associates

Patwa Associates is located over in Shashtrinagar, right in Darshan Apartments. It’s unit 40/480. If you know the Naranpura Telephone Exchange, we are pretty much right near there, which makes it easier for people to find the building. Ahmedabad is a big city, but this little corner feels familiar to us. We’ve been set up in this apartment for a good bit of time. It’s not your typical glass-and-steel office building. It’s more of a lived-in space where we get our work done. Sometimes the tea lady comes by and we take a quick break, but mostly it is just steady work throughout the day. The parking around Darshan Apartments can be a bit of a puzzle some days, especially if you come at the wrong time, but we usually manage fine. We don't have a big reception desk or a waiting room with magazines. You just come in and we talk about whatever needs doing. It’s a practical way to run things. The light in the office is okay in the mornings, then we turn on the overheads later. We handle all the stuff that comes across our desks without making a big fuss about it. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years but our spot here stays pretty much the same. It's homey in its own way and the commute is not too bad for most of us.
