Thomas Cook (I) Ltd

We’ve been set up at 103 Kirtankruti Flat, number 22, for quite some time now. Our office is part of the Sangampark Society in the Ambawadi area of Ahmedabad, with the pin code 380 006. Most locals know the Hirabaug crossing, and we are just near there. It’s a busy spot, especially when the schools let out or during the evening rush. Our office isn’t anything too fancy, just a practical space where we handle travel bookings and foreign exchange for Thomas Cook (I) Ltd. There’s about four or five of us usually working at the desks. We have some old maps on the wall and a lot of brochures that people like to flip through. People come in from the society and the nearby flats to ask about flight prices or how to get a visa for their kids. We sit them down, offer some water, and look things up on the computer. It gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but we’re used to it by now. We don't use big words or try to sell things people don't need. We just figure out a way for them to get where they’re going. Sometimes the printer jams or the internet acts up, but we always get the tickets printed eventually. It’s a regular job for us, and we’ve been in this building long enough that the security guard knows us all by name. We just try to be helpful and keep things moving.
