Patel Brothers (Khanpur)

Our office is on the 4th floor of the Pushpak building, which is right opposite the Cama Hotel in Khanpur. Being on the 4th floor gives us a bit of a view of the street, but mostly we’re just looking at the traffic down below. Khanpur is a busy place and it’s right in the middle of everything, which is convenient for a lot of reasons. The building is an older one, so the lift has its moods and sometimes it’s just faster to take the stairs if you’re in a hurry. Inside, we have a bunch of desks and filing cabinets that are mostly full of years of records. It’s a family-run kind of feel here, and we don't really go for anything too modern or stylish. We just want a place where we can sit down and get our business done without any fuss. Usually, the office is a bit of a mess with papers and tea cups, but we have our own system for finding things. People come and go throughout the day, and there’s always a phone ringing somewhere in the background. We’ve been at this address for quite a while, and the local shopkeepers downstairs know us by name. It’s a comfortable enough spot to spend the day, even if the air conditioning struggles a bit when the afternoon sun hits the windows. We just get through the work and go home when the sun sets.
