Patel Alloy Steel Limited

We've been over here at Plot 297-300 in Vatva for a long time now. The GIDC estate is a busy place, and our foundry is right in the middle of it. We deal with alloy steel mostly. It gets pretty hot inside during the summer, but that’s just how the work goes. People know us for the heavy parts we make. We have several plots connected together to fit all the equipment. Most of the guys living nearby come here for their shifts every morning. It's not a fancy office, just a workspace where we get things done. We handle the melting and the pouring of the steel ourselves. The yard gets crowded with scrap and finished pieces waiting for trucks. Sometimes the roads around Phase II get backed up with trailers, which can be a headache. We don't spend much time on the computer unless it’s for orders. Most of our day is spent on the floor making sure the furnace is running right. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. We’ve seen many neighbors come and go in Vatva over the years. We just keep our heads down and keep the metal moving. If you walk by, you’ll hear the noise from the machines. That’s just the sound of us working. We don't have a big front desk or anything like that. Just come to the gate and ask for someone if you need something. We focus on the daily work and making sure the furnace is hot enough.
