Palco Metals Ltd.

Ahmedabad is hot most of the year, and being near Hanuman Temple in Ambica Park means there is always some noise outside our door. We are at C/16 in Ambica Nagar, right in the Odhav area. It is a busy spot. Most days here at Palco Metals Ltd. start with the shutters going up early. People walk by on their way to the temple, and the traffic starts building up soon after. Our place isn't fancy at all. It is just a workspace where we handle what needs doing with metals. We have been at this address for a while now. Some neighbors know us well, while others just pass by without a second look. Inside, things can get a bit cluttered with papers and metal samples, but that is how it goes when you are actually working. There is a lot of dust from the road, so we are always cleaning the desks. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out or find something else to do that doesn't need lights. We aren't trying to be some big corporate office with glass walls and polished floors. It is just us here in Odhav, trying to keep things moving. Dealing with metal work takes a lot of patience and heavy lifting. We see the same faces every week, mostly local guys or delivery drivers who know the shortcut past Ambica Park. It gets very humid in the monsoon, and the roof makes a lot of noise when it rains hard.
