We have our shop at number 3 in the New Market Shopping Centre, which is right by the Swaminarayan Mandir on Relief Road. It’s a very old and busy part of the city, and being in the Panjarapole area means there's always something going on outside. We handle various sales, mostly hardware and household items that people need for their daily lives. The shop is small and filled from floor to ceiling with boxes and displays. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than two people come in at once, but that’s just how it is in this market. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s just us behind the counter. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the regular faces who walk past every day. We don't do much advertising because the location does the work for us. People know they can stop by and ask if we have a specific tool or a piece of hardware, and if we don't have it on the shelf, we usually know where to get it. It’s a simple way of doing things. We open when the market opens and stay until the crowds start to thin out in the evening. It’s a lot of talking to customers and keeping track of the little things that people need. Every day is pretty much the same but we like it that way and we just keep on going.
